KL Trip
I'm gonna attempt to finish up KL on one single post. Not sure how long it will take, but I'm lazy to separate into different days.
Started the day at Golden Mile after a pathetic 3 hours sleep. I was reluctant to leave my bed. Being a baby, I wanted to bring my small blanket along, but I was stopped. :/ I think it's kind of funny how different people treat different stuff as their treasure. Y'know... Like the chou chou kind of thing? I think pillow is the most useless of all.
So, off we went to KL with our super VIP coach. This time round no photos on coach since it wasn't a double deck coach, and we didn't have a whole level to our own.
I shall be nice and post more Xavy's photos. See the transition from a pussy to a battle tattoo-ed man.
KL 2011 Roomies.
The toilet is definitely better than the hotel I stayed in Bangkok. Okay, actually, it's not a fair comparison. Since one is a suite, and latter is a 3* hotel's toilet. But I love both toilets! It's one of the main key factors that affect my decision when it comes to hotel stay. I remember I kicked a few options out for BKK cos the toilets weren't up to my standard. Hahahaha! Whoops.
Usually I will get really freaked out by hotel toilets, even chalet ones. Don't you guys think toilets are scary, like seriously?! But surprisingly, on the last day of the stay, I could go up to the room all by myself and shower all alone.
I'M BRAVE.
K moving on!
Walked around... I forgot where. KL is a place which I will die if I am alone. People said Bangkok was a dangerous to visit for girls. But I beg to differ. KL is the place that DEFINITELY need guys around. That place, from people to transportation and traffic... All fail. I don't know even know/remember what were the areas that I had been to. What pertaling or whatever.
The main plus point for the entire trip was definitely the food. Not exactly cheap to feel the cheap thrills. In fact, I think it's kinda like Singapore. Just that certain choices are much cheaper. Like Magnum. 4rm vs 4sgd. Do the math.
When I said food was the plus point, I really mean it. I remember mentioning that I wanna eat A&W when I reached KL. And I had it for my very first meal there!! AWESOMEEEEXZ. I craved for it since I was in BKK. That was freaking 2 months back. There's no way for me to satisfy my cravings in SG. Meh. Why did A&W close down?!
CURLY FRIES + ROOT BEER FLOAT. CRAVINGS 100% SATISFIED.
Hahaha. Silly Xinjie stilll went to the counter to ask if they sell twister fries, cos we couldn't find it anywhere on the menu. The person over the counter seh a while before telling us that curly fries was available.
Twister and curly, not a lot of difference what!
Train token. And yes, you are supposed to 'dong' it. We are double confirm typical Singaporeans.
Trained to Chinatown and settled for zichar for dinner. See all the tired faces. Hahahaha!! And spot for Malcolm Han! The best expression out of all!
Hehehe. KL 2011 vs Genting 2009. See how much we have grown!
After dinner. Back to the hotel. While we, the girls, we comfortably chilling in our room, the door bell rang. And Jem Chung stood outside
ALONE. I should have suspected why he was nice enough to visit. Until all the guys appeared from the back and rushed into our room. >:( YOU GOOD! I'll remember this!
And all the gambling session began. Goodness. Our room like tio rape by all the guys please.
Hahaha Haiza and his BKK taxi driver outfit.
All the crazy gambling session only ended 3+ in the morning, when we had to wake up early for the next day.
MORNING FACES.
Back into the room after breakfast, neighbours came to visit cos of housekeeping.
ATTEMPT #1
"Everybody do this sign"
"Okay"
-snapped photo-
Everyone started scolding Malcolm for doing the wrong sign. Hahahahaha!!
Uhhhhhh.
Our neighbour didn't had the single bed in their room. After calling the receptionist, they received a maid bed. Well done!!
So on the second day, guys and girls had different events on mind. The guys proceeded with their paintball war, while the girls went shopping. Hehe. Thank god we didn't tag along. If not I would be whining like mad from all the battle scars.
Shopped at Sungei Wang. In comparison, it's like the Far East in Singapore. This is the place that girls should go when they are at KL. Not Berjaya Times Square okay? I call BTS Toa Payoh Central. Seriously, it's a shit mall.
I satisfied my cravings for Share Tea in Malaysia too! Hehe. They had this 'Digi' promotion going on. It's one of their service providers and I happened to roam using Digi. So we flashed the Digi thingy to the person and got discount for our drinks. But we were supposed to write down our details. So Ng Shi Yao went to write the name as "Leslie Lee" and bombed some random number.
Reminiscing the past, we had Old Town for lunch. Hehe, I ate the same thing I had in Genting okay! Good old times.
SPRINGY NOODLES!!!
After Sungei Wang, we went to Fahrenheit 88. Well, nothing much. It's like a more atas mall with more international brands like Havaianas. I was damn tempted to buy a pair. But... I decided to buy when I'm back. And now that I'm back, I haven't bought one. Damn. I seriously need to move my ass and buy a pair before I'm left with none.
Malaysian bear. With an uninvited... Indian/Malaysian kid? Whatever.
FAVOURITE BEAR. Everything is nice about NYC. I think the girls should forsake Taiwan & Hongkong for US trip. Such a brilliant idea, no?
The Ahneh bear.
Well, back to our signature pose of course! Toilet hand sign pose! Teehee.
Dua neh neh bear.
Bear and cougar-to-be?
This bear has an epic story behind. I forgot which country this bear belongs to. But anyway, upon taking a shot of this bear, my bff shamelessly told me that the pole or whatever that is, was painted in a very wrong position. It took me a few moments to realised she was referring to... Hahahahahaha. Evidently, VJ has caused her mind to be polluted.
Cannot stand this bear. Pure imitation. Well, it's obvious which bear this belongs to.
GUAN YIN MA BFF.
After massive shopping session, it was time to meet the guys who went for paintball. Initial plan was to hire a cab. But all the taxi drivers were idiots who refused to pick us. So we had to walk all the way from Sungei Wang to... Well... KLCC. (I had to google map to recall hahahaha #fail)
Mega fail shots with Petronas cos we were running super duper late. :/
After KLCC, we went to Hard Rock Cafe, which sucked. Asked for ice water, and receuved pipe water instead. There's a HUGE difference between tap water and pipe water.Never ever gonna patronize Hard Rock Cafe @ KL again.
BIRTHDAY BOYYYYY.
Back at the hotel.
Waiting for the cue to enter the room to surprise sleepy Han with birthday song. Our plan was a success! Poor Han couldn't go back to sleep after the toothpaste prank, and the nieghbours came to our room for some mask session.
God knows what Malcolm Han was trying to do.
THIRD DAY, WE WENT TO SUNWAY LAGOON! Probably the highlight of the trip. But the theme park was... Meh. Genting is much better. I kinda miss the space shot there.
#likeaboss
#aladdinrideinspired
Poor Yiwei was injured from the paintball session. And we have a very happy culprit here! Hahahahah!
Spot the battle scars.
Well, I post this picture because this is the last photo that Xavier took before he received his tattoo. Last handsome shot.

You guys really need to learn how to open your eyes! Hahahaha!
First ride... And I died. Hahahaha! I was really freaked out by the ride okay. And the tears just came out naturally. :'( Thanks to it, I became the highlight of the ride. The dudes opposite me laughed like
MAD. Like literally burst out laughing. Where was the sympathy, guys?!
And... Just sharing.
The epic expressions of the malay dude who sat next to me during the ride.
WHAT'S WITH THOSE FACES MANNNNNNNN. One like chill only. The other one like... Hahahahahahaha!
After Sunway, found a cool lorry parked outside 7-11 which sells fried lok lok!
It was a very satisfying meal. Until Jem told me they got the water from the pail. (white pail at the corner). Pipe water deja vu. But I was too hungry to care about the hygiene. :/ And... The food was really good despite it being some roadside lorry stall.
Hansum boy.
Genting Roomies!
Malcolm posing all the actions that the photographet at Sunway 'taught' us. Hehehe.
After Sunway, we went back to the hotel to wash up and went out to have dinner. While the guys had zi char (again!), we went to scout for some thai food! The stall serves pretty good pad thai!
Well well well, after dinner, back to hotel for some real celebration with a cake, card, present and not to forget the 18 dares. More than 18 actually.
Idk why all the culprits and victims like so happy one!
Epic seh face.
This is probably the real highlight of the trip. 18 dares with spontaneous Han!!
Hahaha! Nice pose spotted.
Like pretty only!
Xavier's 'wth' moment when he realised Malcolm was going to paint his algae-filled toe nails.
LOLOLOLOL.
Waterless aerobics master in the making.
Fourth day, wanted to go to the claimed 'infinity pool' for a dip followed by a sauna session. But it rained so... I dropped the idea. Several of us chilled at the comfy couch. As usual, Garey dozed off. This guy really imba. Everywhere also can sleep.
Cover face but exposed injury. #fail
K finally done! I drafted for this post for almost a week already. :/ I was plain lazy to complete the post. :/
